I have seen this book around a lot, and WOW do I understand why there seems to be a good deal of hype since its release.
This story hits the ground sprinting with action, intrigue, and a bit of terror. As I saw someone else mention, I do get a bit of an "Attack on Titan" vibe (which I love), and I really appreciate that the MC only communicates via sign due to her past trauma. Only 50 pages in and SO much has happened; I can't wait to read the rest and see what happens next!
Lu is an author that I have heard a lot of folks talk about, but I haven't read any of her work before. This brief peek definitely makes me want to go and check out her other writing. :)
