I've read and enjoyed some post-apocalyptic books before, but this one doesn't seem to be for me. The beginning didn't pull me in. Also, it seems like there will be a lot of fighting, which is something I'm not into. Finally, I can rarely tolerate first person present narration as it sounds so unnatural.
