I’m not that much of a sci-fi reader. I also think this is a series book and I haven’t read anything else from the series. That said, it seems descriptive. Someone who enjoys fantasy or sci-fi would be a better judge than I. I did like the beautiful cover and the maps inside the book. I always appreciate maps giving a visual of the world taking place in the book.
