Wow! What an interesting story! It seems like a story I've read many times before about how a young girl gets into movie stardom, but there are many hints in this excerpt that this isn't the story at all. What about that kiss she can't wash away? Why does the ticket seller cut an inch of her hair at a time? The writing is stellar. The cover is intriguing.
