Interesting Perspective
If you enjoy watching or following college football, you will enjoy this book. It is an interesting perspective on the tribalism of college football. College football has such a large following and mixed opinions on the sport. I feel as though this book is a break from the idyllic stories about football, in content such as The Blind Side or Friday Night Lights. It pulls back the curtain on the college football culture. This book could get emotional at times, but I think those moments are what makes the book impactful. Diving into the nooks and crannies of the college football system was eye opening. It is interesting to watch a game through the lease of this book. I liked reading about Wally and his relationship with his brother, Henry. I was interested to read more about the system and corruption that does take place within that system.
