39-year-old Maria wakes up in her seventeen-year-old body, and all she wants to do is get back to her real life. But things are a lot more complicated than they seem - she has the chance to prevent a horrible tragedy, but in doing so, she'll change her future irrevocably.

The blurb describes this book as Life After Life meets Sliding Doors, and the comparison is pretty accurate! Maria is the strongest part of the novel - her compassion and determination made her a character to root for. I loved how the characters played different roles in the two timelines, showing how even when Maria's paths diverged, important people still showed up. I enjoyed the plotting, especially the ending.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books with multiple timelines. Sometimes the two timelines got a bit confusing, but readers who are used to multiple timelines should have no trouble getting through the book!
