Maria is a mother to two girls and due any day with her third child. She meets a patient who warns her to be careful of her receptionist. She know that Maria is having a boy and warns Maria not to trust her receptionist. She doesn’t believe her and is visited by the police the following day. Sylvia has committed suicide and mentions Maria and her baby in the letter that is found with her. This book had me intrigued from the first chapter. Who is Silvia and how does she know so much about Maria. Is she telling the truth or was she just delusional?
