This is the third and final book in the Dolly Rawlins series. You don’t have to read the first two books (Widows & Widows Revenge) but I highly recommend them. Dolly has just been released from prison after 9 years for shooting her husband. She has great plans to start a home for children of prisoners using money she hopes to get from selling the diamonds she had stashed from a robbery before she went to prison. But things start going wrong at once, starting with a group of women who knew Dolly in prison who were released before her, and they hope to get a cut from the sale of the diamonds. Then there is the detective whose sister was killed when she helped Dolly commit a robbery years ago. He wants Dolly to go back to prison for his sister’s death. Great book and the ending is a real shocker! Thank you Bookish First!
