I didn't enjoy this first impression. Mysteries and crime stories are usually right up my alley, but not this one. I didn't enjoy the writing and it was too heavy-handed with the DOLLY IS A HORRIBLE, MANIPULATIVE, EVIL PERSON! We get it: she's bad and will continue to do bad stuff. A little more subtlety would have made this much more enjoyable. Also, the title and cover are both horrible.
