Criminals and 2 million dollars, it's anyone's game.

The synopsis of the book almost made me not read the first 30ish pages. It reminded me of that 90's comedy movie where the criminals get out of jail and the diamond are in a police station. I am glad I read the first bit of the book because it pulled me in and I want to find out more about Dorothy and Mike and the rest of the characters. I imagine all my first thoughts on where the story is going to weave and end up are wrong but this is a journey I want to take.
