This is a classic erotica novel. The two main characters are opposite in personalities of course and start off kinda rubbing each other the wrong way but they both feel a pull towards each other. Mr. Shark is an older successful and strong willed business man who usually gets what he wants when he wants it. So it is no surprise that Abbigail Gibson doesn't do what he always wants. She too is strong willed and determined to be a successful restaurant owner and caterer. Yet she is young, inexperienced with relationships and feels a huge pull in his direction. I really like the tone and flow of the book. My husband also liked that I liked the flow and tone of the book! Occasionally it drones on too much in certain parts when the characters are thinking too much about each other. The attraction parts are hot and steamy. Mr. Shark can be very direct and cruel with his words which can also be a turn on for the young Ms. Gibson and the reader. The story line I felt pretty typical but there was a pull for me to find out what will happen to the main characters plus the added bonus of a mystery of who is setting up Mr. Shark in a business competition. So many people dislike Mr. Shark and a few who really like Ms. Gibson. Now I have to read the second part of the series!
