I'm a bit sad to give this a measly 3.5-stars because I'd read a preview before getting the whole book and I was so looking forward to seeing where it went. But aside from some pretty intense foreplay and fun conversational back-and-forth, I can't get over the fact that all the big, suspenseful elements of what I'll term "evil-machinations" don't get any resolution whatsoever. It annoyed me enough that the fact that the title's Shark and Abbi make a great couple and get incredibly hot and heavy was but a blip in my intense desire to know who's behind everything. And, yes, I know it's a trilogy and things will (ideally) be solved in future volumes but at least a tiny bit of it could have been included here to finish rounding out the plot.
