This book was just okay in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of second chance romance or friends to lover romance unless it is super well done. This one just was not for me. I thought it was cute, but I think I am just tired of young adult romances that are not different. If I’m going to read young adult books, it has to be something more unique. The characters are sweet but kind of boring. I just did not find myself invested in reading this book.
I'm not someone who listens to k-pop, so I did not have that kind of interest in the book going into it. I think that when I was in high school I may have enjoyed this book a little more. I do think it is enjoyable for a younger audience. I know I wasn't the target audience, but I was excited to try it out. I think 3 stars is deserving. It was not something I just loved reading and could not put down, but it also was not necessarily a bad read.
