To begin this review I’ll start by saying I really enjoyed reading this. From the beginning it is humorous and light hearted. Hannah is a very relatable character. We begin this book in the bathroom holding helping her boyfriend at the time puke into a toilet. We watch as he admits he wants to break up with her. We see Hannah not wanting to believe it. And thinking he said anything other than the words he spoke.
Next, we get to meet Jacob. Jacob is a Korean-American boy who moved away to become a pop star. We right off the bat see tension between the two characters from a past that was left unresolved. We learn that Hannah was left by Jacob in order for him to make money for him and his family in the entertainment industry. I find Jacobs character to be a bit bland. However, I think this a book that readers will eat up in a day. It is easy to read and so fun. Will recommend.
