This was cute but not so sugary sweet cute that it made me uncomfortable. I don't normally read YA romances but I enjoyed this one!

Hannah and Jacob were adorable together - I loved how, even though Hannah was mad at him, they immediately found their rhythm of friendship again. I'm glad they talked it out and communicated their hurt with each other right away so that we were able to enjoy watching their feelings develop for each other.

I haven't experienced the world of K-pop or K-dramas yet so learning about how potential stars are selected and training was really interesting. It was enlightening watching Jacob wrestle with his feelings around being a K-drama star and the price he had to pay to do something he enjoyed.

Overall, a super cute read and one that both teens and adults alike can enjoy. The pacing was great, the 3rd act breakup and reconciliation was believable, and it was easy to root for Hannah and Jacob!
