As a big fan of K-Dramas and a fan of Christina Lauren who was interested in the blurb on the cover, I originally claimed this one. I'm glad I did because this was a very solid YA contemporary. It was a quick and fun read that had gotten me out of a slump.

Hannah and Jacob were originally friends until he moved to Korea, and his return and his and Hannah's banter and the beginning were one of my favorite parts of the book. As their relationship progresses it is natural from friends to enemies to friends to lovers. The experience of Hannah's not being Korean enough was a big part of the book, and I believe it will be important for many readers, reading from her point of view was very interesting. I especially liked the dual POVs. It was a solid YA contemporary, and after not reading for a few months, this was the perfect book to get me back into reading. I hope to see this author's books in the future.
