This is a story about Hannah and Jacob, childhood best friends who had a falling out when Jacob and his family had to move to Korea. Jacob is now a k-drama actor, but circumstances lead him to go back to stay with Hannah’s family for the summer. This cute friends to enemies to lovers was so well written. I don’t know much about k-dramas or k-pop but the author did a great job of making this a story that didn’t feel confusing. I love that the author discusses topics such as grief, loneliness and making choices based on what you want vs what you think everyone else needs. Definitely a great read for any young adult (or any adult) to enjoy if you like a cute and sweet romance. I loved the dual point of view. The plot kept me interested the entire time. I really enjoyed Hannah’s character growth throughout the story. I would definitely recommend this book.
