This book was outside of my normal reads, as I normally stay away from both young adult and romance novels. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a great, adorable read!
The writing style was engaging and had me hooked from the get go. I particularly liked the way each chapter switched perspectives, bouncing back and forth from Hannah and Jacob’s (and occasionally Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Cho’s) point of view.
The storyline was so cute and different from anything I’ve read before! I loved the chemistry between Hannah and Jacob and was rooting for them to fall in love! I also liked how this novel gave me insight into Korean culture and some of the struggles Korean American’s may face today.
Again, this book was outside of my normal reads but I would definitely recommend it to those who enjoy young adult romance novels! Overall, this was such a cute read!
