I’m getting only the best vibes from this sample. Having dual perspectives is a nice touch and I like the heroine’s voice so far. The romance is just my type, friends to lovers with a mild enemy twist as the heroine feels she was abandoned when the male main character went abroad to become a star. Definitely atypical and not formulaic. I like how quickly the story delves into the more interesting inner lives of the characters and their thoughts and family situations. It’s not just surface level fluff but does seem light enough to be an easygoing good time. Reads very fast. The cover is cute too, would definitely catch my eye at a B&N or other bookstore. Excited to read more.
