Thought it was okay
This book was okay, yet quite predictable in many ways. Everybody thought the lead character was so great and put her up on a pedestal which I found a little cliche. There was a nice development of characters and a fair amount of suspense with a great mixture of paranormal, but it feel short in the amount of surprise leading up to her finding her mother's killer. I am not into the theatrical scene either, which made the majority of this book kind of boring. This has the right amount of teenaged love/lust if you are into that sort of thing, but as a 40 some year old, my reaction was "Meh, nothing Earth shattering". I wish I would have enjoyed this book more and I would definitely read another from this author, but I hope they surprise me a little bit more next time. I am leaving an honest, detailed review of my thoughts on this new novel a great new author Ginny Myers Sain.
