Theater Kids Repped Well
I really enjoyed this story overall!
I love a good ghost story, but I think what I love even more about this story is that it features theater kids in such an authentic way! I can tell that the author was a theatre kid herself, and I really appreciate all the detail she put into it. Very refreshing.
In terms of the mystery element of this story, I enjoyed the buildup and the hints that were sprinkled throughout. However, I thought the ending could be a bit more complex. The big reveal just didn't excite me as much as I'd hoped, I guess. It was still an enjoyable read though.
Ginny Meyers Sain has a wonderful way with words, as she did in Dark and Shallow lies. I will say though, the atmosphere didn't draw me in as strongly in Secrets So Deep, but it was still good.
For characters, I thought they were pretty well done for the most part. I thought the romantic relationship was done nicely too.
