Secrets So Deep is the sophomore release from Ginny Myers Sain that I was looking forward to reading. Sadly, this story just fell flat for me. While the premise is interesting, the story just dragged on too long and never really picked up until the end. Multiple chapters came across as repetitive, just with different wording. Ultimately, the same people doing the same things over and over again. The characters were not very engaging, felt pretty one dimensional and could have been developed more in my opinion. Some of the things they did and the way they reacted made no sense to me. I guess I was expecting it to be more like the authors first release Dark and Shallow Lies, which is an excellent and engaging read that I highly recommend.
