I definitely had big expectations after absolutely loving this author's previous novel. For that reason only, I might have been a little disappointed, because it was definitely not as good as that one (in my opinion). Having said that though, it was still an enjoyable book and I'm really glad I picked it up. This author definitely knows how to write fun and suspenseful Young Adult mysteries/thrillers. It kept me on my toes and had me guessing until the end. I was happy with the overall plot, setting, and ending of this novel, which is great. So despite being a little disappointed, because I had such high hopes going into it, it is all relative because it was still a great book. I will definitely be reading this author's future work! Hope that something is released in the semi near future, because I have a feeling it will be another winner!
