Secrets So Deep caught my eye with its beautiful cover! I loved the overall concept of this book, but I was quickly disappointed by the book. This was a young adult mystery/thriller with some paranormal elements, but it was definitely a slow burn. And although books with slower pace books can be really good, this one often didn’t keep my attention well enough. It also didn’t feel like it fully embraced the supernatural elements that it kept hinting at, so it often had me feeling confused as to what I had just read. This book just had so much potential, I feel I could have liked this one a lot more if it had just been a faster pace and if more happened. I also would have loved if there had been more developments with the paranormal aspect, so I wouldn’t have been as confused. Overall, I can definitely see how people will enjoy this one, I just think it wasn’t particularly the book for me.
