I’ll admit, this wasn’t the excerpt I was expecting when I saw the cover. The cover is so dark and ominous and the excerpt starts with a bunch of teenagers meeting and having fun at theatre camp. Of course Avril is keeping a secret. She was in this exact place before when her mother died 12 years ago when Avril was 5. She drown and it was ruled and accident but Avril has had questions ever since. She’s hoping she’ll be able to answer her questions while she’s at her theatre camp. I enjoyed meeting the characters and I think I’d probably enjoy this story more than I would have expected.
