The sexualization of a literal dead body in the first 3 paragraphs was very off-putting to say the least. The also apparent text book explanation of Hawaiian cultural politics written by a white man was also kind of weird, but at least it seems he's done some kind of research so that's a plus I guess. Overall this book just seems to not be for me at all.
