I was excited when I read the description of this book to hear about the scenery of Hawaii combined with the mystery. But the author seems to skip a whole lot of description right at the very beginning. Surfer finds body, calls cops...that's it. He pulls her out of the water then the cop is there and no other detail. It made it difficult to get into the story for me.
