I really liked the idea of this, makes me think of Hawaii Five-O, which is cool. I like the setting, but I'm just not a fan of the lack of depth the characters seem to have already and the writing style just falls kind of flat for me. Is the setting cool? Yes. Would I read it if it were set somewhere else? Probably not.
