I didn’t really enjoy this one. I thought it would be more of the main character helping protect women, but it morphed into something else. I also didn’t really like the main character at all. She was smart but she made awful decisions and was a huge enabler for her drug addicted brother. I did enjoy how she worked to protect victims and she was very smart about how to about it. Her love interest was kind of pointless. I didn’t feel any real chemistry between them at all.
Her childhood was hard and I got a little confused when we flashed back to her as a kid and what happened to her family. And there were a lot of characters. It was hard to keep all the characters straight. Overall I just wasn’t a big fan of this one.
