Loved this!
This book was described by the publisher as “part Lisbeth Salander, part Jessica Jones, part Jack Reacher” and boy I agree but I’m not sure that description does it full justice. Nikki is a character of her own - a powerful, vengeful, sometimes overly violent female hero for our times - and she doesn’t need the comparison to those other characters to stand on her own. Nikki is a fully formed, flawed but likeable character. Too often the books I read have flat or shallow characters and thankfully this does not apply to Save Men From Dangerous Men. This book is a great mix of literary trivia, intriguing mystery, and feminist morals. I am anxious awaiting what I expect will be the second great novel in a new and exciting series.
