I'm a sucker for books with strong, take-no-crap-from-anyone, female leads. So when I read the summary for this book, which compared the protagonist to Lisbeth Salander (from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Jessica Jones (from Marvel's Jessica Jones), I was on board. The synopsis, while only six pages long, hooked me right away. I like the writing style of the author, and I can't wait to read more about Nikki Griffin.
