Every woman I know has had dealt with idiots in a bar, and they're written well. I'm a tad surprised the narrator hasn't killed anyway yet, frankly, but I have a feeling her new friend isn't going to like her very much outside the bar. She's fun, but she's unflappable - it seems like she can't get hurt, in the way action movie heroes can't get hurt. The section was short, maybe in the next chapter we get to see her human.
