Not my typical style, but definitely better than I anticipated.

So generally, this fantasy type of book is not my typical style. I gravitate toward adventure and mystery, but I thought I would give this book a try. I am certainly glad that I did! The book was generally engaging, and I love the world that was built in this first of the series book. The book was action packed, and had great fight scenes that were action packed. I felt like the cover wasn’t the best, and would not have otherwise drawn me in at a bookstore. I felt like something better could have been drawn up that would have been far more attractive.

I generally really liked this novel, and look forward to the next installment of this series. I can’t wait to see what happens in this world and to these characters that I have grown to know. I felt like this was a good page turning novel and enjoyed the time that I was eating it. I would recommend it to anyone!
