I like how the first chapter is setup with a good bit of world building for the reader. The author ties in the main character's coming plight with intricate details surrounding this unique landscape and Crachian city. I like when this is done early on. The cover is reminiscent of illustrated Fantasy novels and I like the detail.
I will not be entering the raffle for this novel only because this fantasy type is not one that I usually read. I did enjoy the excerpt and look into this unique world though, thank you.
