This draws you in with a really cool cover, but from there, it's kind of hard to get a good reading on it. The description here is very vague and there's not too much to go on in the first chapter. However, the chapter does hold an interesting character, some world-building points, and a hint at the plot to come. It has the potential to turn out pretty good.
