In Satan's Gold, Tyler is trying to stop Daemon from plundering the US Federal Reserve, which would cause a global meltdown. Daemon has already stole millions of dollars from the Russians...and has not been caught for over 2 years. Tyler and Dixie, a female hacker wanted for her own crimes of planting a virus, start to work together to find Daemon.
The author's development of the characters is well rounded and makes the reader root for them. Surprisingly, I also learned a lot about how the global financial system works and how it could be catastrophic, as well as viruses and hacking. The author clearly has knowledge about both subjects.
I really enjoyed Dixie, who was a strong character that complimented Tyler quite nicely. The pace was fast moving, exciting and kept me wanting to read more, even while surprisingly, learning about hacking and the global financial system.
