The cover is somewhat bland and sterile, but befitting of the genre... one which I would call Special Forces/ military thriller. Unlike the cover, the author’s promotional portrait is designed to give an air of mystery but reeks of try- hard. I made it half way through the excerpt but couldn’t deal with typos and military jargon.
