I definitely like thrillers, though military style ones are not really my favorite. The biggest issue that I have with the book thus far is that the writing style is a bit choppy for my liking. The author tries so hard to set the stage that the effort borders on oversharing. There will definitely be plenty of action in this novel, but I am not so sure that the plot and the characters will be all that memorable.
