Could I get a trigger warning??

There was no warning for the prologue of the book - nothing in the summary was remotely close to the events that happened in the first couple of pages. I've read books with violent openings or just violence, but I was warned and made an informed decision going in.
I skimmed over some other reviews and it actually seems like something I could get into if I could past the start, but I just don't have any interest in continuing. I get that this is pre-publication so it probably will get trigger warnings once readers start getting to it, but I wish I had known to prepare myself. I've never read McNab before, so it's also something experience readers would know about but new readers wouldn't. Just not my thing without warning.
