Something was missing from this book and I don’t know exactly what it was. Maybe the pacing was off? Maybe I wasn’t invested in the story? I just know that I found myself skimming the first look/impression wanting it to be over. I’m not sure this genre is for me, but it could be for you! Give it a try!
