I think this book is going to take readers on an emotional roller coaster! This opens with the passing of a beloved family member, and in a heartfelt community/family moment, a rival bakery flaunts their success. In just 20 pages I felt grief, community, warmth, and outrage. I’m immediately immersed in the family rivalry, and I know that the clumsiness of our main character will be a funny moment.
