I like that it is reflecting grief (as sad as it was) because that is important to represent. I think the romance and comedy will be a good balance to the darkness that can be grief in the story. It has good threads- Lari being clumsy which is going to be something that she has to overcome to start working in bakery, grief, the future of the bakery, conflict between two shops, and more.
I do not think the story is bad but I was not hooked by the story.
