I have been waiting and wanting to read this book since I first heard about it at the beginning of 2022.
Lari's grandma has just died leaving the family and the family bakery without its head baker. This means that Lari's mom is the only one left to handle everything. While Lari wants to help she has a black thumb when it comes to the kitchen and usually disasters happen when she is near it at all. So instead Lari is going to try and do everything he can to get the Bakery next door the family's biggest competition to close, so that her family's bakery can be the only one on the street and to keep her family together.
