The cover is adorable and the blurb lets you know this will be an enemy to lovers type of book. The story starts with the funeral of the matriarch. As the narrator continues, you learn a bit about her kitchen disasters and why the two bakeries are considered to be at odds, as well as why she dislikes the boys her age from that bakery. I wish the first impression had been longer.
