My first impression of Saint X is that it left me wanting to read the book in its entirety. A mystery/thriller with some twists and turns is what I'm imagining. I love that it's being told by a third person instead of one of the character's points of view.

I did think that the beginning was a bit wordy. It made it a little hard to get into with the "first look" at the book. By the time it really started getting interesting and grabbing my attention, I was at the end. I guess that's the point though, isn't it?!

The characters were something new for me. Instead of having names for the parents, "the father" and "couple" felt very impersonal. Which led me to believe that many of the characters will not be a big part of the story. Whereas those who are named will be the main focus.

I hope to be able to enjoy the full book in the near future.
