Saint X is a small island where people who can afford take a blissful vacation. Through a solid and entertaining third person narrative, we see the lives of the different customers in Indigo Bay, including Claire’s family, in the first few pages of Saint X. We see what they do now and what their actions could possibly result into the next few years. Could these people have anything to do with the death of Alison? Who knows. But it really was delivered in a manner that would make the reader hooked and entertained.

Speaking of the premise, we see college girl Alison and her little sister Claire in Indigo Bay. They like to play games with each other, and their relationship is adorable. Unfortunately, the book seems to stall on the death of Alison. We never get to see present day Claire. Although, the book establishes Alison’s relationship on the suspected killers, the preview ends leaving us a little clue to who really did the deed, but enough to make our curiosity spike.
