My true crime loving heart so wanted this to be a ripped from the headlines story that would whip me through a mystery. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I think this may be a case of just having built up this book as something entirely different in my head. I guess I just thought Saint X would focus on the mystery of Claire's sister's death but what this actually turned out to be was mostly a story of grief, and how a tragedy is never just one person's tragedy and how one person's story can effect so many, many people. I think if you go in with different expectations than I did, you may find the story more enjoyable. People who have dealt with crippling grief or even confusing grief at a young age might really relate.
