I wanted to love this book. I really wanted to. The cover is gorgeous and the synopsis sounded so promising. However, it was a complete struggle for me to get through this book. I found it to be incredibly slow and full of so many details that were not necessary. To me it felt like I was having a conversation with someone and they just kept rambling on and off topic.
I would definitely not call this book a thriller and I was not invested in the outcome. I kept reading in the hopes that it would get more exciting and it seemed to pick up a bit in the middle, but then it lost my interest again.
While this book was definitely not for me, I know there are other readers loving it so don’t let my review turn you off from it! Try it for yourself!
