This was a quick read! I loved the cover and was quickly drawn in to the story line. I appreciate how different this story was. It is a book I’d recommend to others.
This book was a slow burn read. The story is about racism, class difference and privileges. I love the photographic, detailed descriptions throughout the book. It questions the unfairness of between rich and poor and races.
The characters however, were a little annoying at times- acting so privileged and like spoiled brats! I also liked the ending- it was not what I expected but I did like the authors brilliance behind it. I know this is a highly anticipated book and for good reason . The book is so well written and I can’t wait to read what the author writes next!
