Many thanks to the publisher and author for sending me an arc.

This book right here, my #1 highly anticipated release of 2020. I'm thrilled to have this gorgeous book in my hands! This will be, without a doubt, my first read of 2020!

Stay tuned for reading updates!

3/7/20 Update - DNF 35%

So I'm finally getting around to giving this one a proper review. First off, I cannot in good conscience give this book a starred review as I DNF and I don't think it's fair to rate when I didn't finish. Also, Goodreads shelves this book as Mystery/Thriller, this is NOT a mystery or thriller based book. Those of you who are thriller fans, please note this, as it is deceiving. There are snippets of intrigue but it does not compose the whole book. With that being said, I would classify this as contemporary drama.

I tried really hard to like this book, I loved the author's writing style and the vivid imagery in the very beginning but after the vacation it fell flat for me. I didn't enjoy reading about the main character and her adult obsession with the death of her older sister that happened years ago.

While I didn't enjoy this book this time around, I'm definitely going to give this book another chance at a later date. I don't enjoy giving negative reviews and believe every book is good but for the right person.
